ESP and ABS lights coming on at higway speeds
Sometimes after driving on the highway for at least 45 min. or more my ESP and ABS lights come on. All I need to do is turn off the car and they go out when I restart the car. This only seems to happen after driving at highway speeds for long periods. Any suggestions what could be going on to cause the systems to be disabled?

Re: Any codes?? Could be the abs module going out.
Being the noob that I am....I do not have the interface or vagcom software to check for codes. I was wondering which interface and software would be best to get and where to purchase it from. Also instruction on how to do it.

VAG-COM from ross-tech will show you codes along with some other important data......
You should check out the vag-com forum on audiworld or go to ross-tech.com. You can also purchase it from him. It's a very valuable tool to have. I would say a must have. There's a vag-com directory around here also someplace. Might be in edy-jun's directory. Someone in your area might have one and be nice enough to scan your car for you also.
