dealer agreed to replace the whole transmission under warranty on monday.. i just need my older brother to get a rental car for i am not 21 and it will take 5 days to fix. all the dealer wants from me is to take off my ss.

My dealer said it was 'normal', wish I had a decent honorable dealer like yours.

Also told me to go easy from 1st to 2nd and no power shifting. There is no fun it that. I wonder if he said this because my transmission is going bad. What were your symptoms?

i have complained about the transmision ever since i first got the car. what i said was that its grinding under normal conditions and if you arent gona replace now then you will be replacing later when all the teeth are missing..
also my shifting has been super notchy before and after the SS.

Some dealer in my area I talked to denied having ANY trannies replaced.

I understand their need to not to advertise Audi's dirty laundry, but flat our lying, damn!

last night and i guess i sounded smart enough to have them convinced my tranny was bad.

dealer just replaced my tranny.....tech told me that there is actually an updated tranny now.....the new one is much better btw.....
