I had heard about how Castrol Syntech was a "different" synthetic so the info about the 4 classes of
 
oil were nice to see with explanations. Of course no clear answer and as always the needs of a race engine that gets drained and refilled all the time are different than our daily drivers.

Well at least those that do not quite follow oil developments now(me included somewhat)
 
can understand why Mobil1 changed their formulas a while back. Granted this was pre their 0W40 weight was released but the price of their 0W30 should have come down significantly.

Havent heard of GV before, just GIV/PAO with esters. Wondering if this is a proper grouping now or something the Moutul guy just brought up...
