Default Extend warranty through Audi

My 01 Avant will go out of warranty in May. I am the original owner. I continue to love the car and it only has 25.5K miles. I've heard that there is a program for paying to extend the warranty through Audi, at least on the major stuff, as long as I do it before the warranty expires. Anybody know anything about this?

Thanks
David

Default I've heard here you can and talked to my dealer about it too and they said it doesn't exist. Guess

it depends on the dealer.

Default Re: Extend warranty through Audi

I just spoke with the dealer the last time my car was in the shop. It's the same warranty they use to cover Certified Pre-Owned. He did say it cost ~3k, which I felt might be kind of steep. The other thing is that it isn't the same as our wonderful no-cost maintenance. They charge you a $50 deductible for each visit, regardless of the cost of the visit. So little things like cup holders should be postponed until something more serious comes up.

My other thought was that the warranty may not cover the car if I ever decide to upgrade the turbos.
