Default F Hose Swap gone bad...................

I had the typical bad F hose symptoms on my 2000 2.7T 6 speed and was replacing my F hose with a samco one. BTW the old one was torn in 2 places in both bends.

I had all of the clamps off and was trying to get the final hose off of the Vacuum hose? The Vacuum hose broke and now I am down and not sure where to go from here.

Is this even a vacuum hose and does anyone know what I need to replace?

I can't tell if there is a sensor involved.

The hose goes under the y pipe and connects to a tri/hose them goes to the y pipe. If anyone has a part number for the part that would be great.

I will probably have to send my wife to get the part and I doubt that she will be able to convey the right part to the parts guys.

Default That's that PCV tubing "spider" thing at the back of the intake manifold, eh?

black plastic material, really brittle? Yea, that crap breaks all the time, especially on the 30 valve V6's(non-turbo). I don't think they're too spendy, and if you're doing your F hose, it'll be an ok DIY for you. Then again, you did break something...... ;-)

Back there by that "spider", there's other vacuum peices that can also be brittle. Be careful!

I can see how you broke it as I was very careful when I was doing mine.
