FATS time. chiggity check disssss
i logged some runs with my pocket logger. first ill tell you the conditions.....
FATS best 6.89 worste 7.02 ( both seem slow IMO, maybe humidity?)
gas 93
m box
bi-pipe,710n's, s-flow, modded air box.
notes- 72 degrees, sea level, humidity 93%, 1 passenger(he operated the logger)
however strange things happened. on both runs i went WOT at 3500rpm HOWEVER on the logger it said TPS at 92% at 4200rpm.. 5600rpm 93%... 6500rpm i finally got to 100%. it got to 100% at 5900. ( obviously the runs were different, pretty much same outcome with the TPS though)
any ideas why? i did some 6th gear roll ons and mashed the throttle and could only get to 60% throttle at low rpms. is this due to drive by wire?

I wouldn't be concerned with throttle position...
So long as it's in the 90's it's probably normal. Even X doesn't reach "real" full throttle until you're in the top half of the tach.

Sounds completely right if you have a stock S4 to me...
6.89 with a passenger...knock that down to about 6.5 with no passenger (more than that if they're over 200 pounds). FATS is 58-91mph. The R&T test of the S4 from 1999 showed 0-60 in 5.5 and 0-90 in 11.5. That's 6.0 to cover that 30mph speed differential. 33/30 = 110%. 110% of 6.0 is 6.6. That's pretty close to 6.5.
