Anyone else's fit similarly? I understand that once the hood pins go on it will bring it down. However will that put undue flex/strain on the hood?

You can see that the angulation from the from the hood and grill is sharp, causing part of the misfitment. Or are the headlights not properly angled?

I thought FI CF hoods had the best fitment?

Also, when SFTA, people said it's ok to drive in the rain. I have yet to drive in any heavy rain. Though when I picked up my car after hood/paint from the shop, the car would not go past 2000 rpms. Apparently the shop washed the car and did not cover the vents. Water was everywhere in the engine bay. Evenetually it dried out, with use of high pressure air, and averything was ok. So what's the consensus when it rains?

Default you can adjust it.... the male locking piece on the core support can be lowered IIRC

Try that out... also the rubber grommets, if you have them installed, can be twisted to lower themselves too.
