Finally got the chance to run my friends SL55 AMG....
it an 05', supercharged 5.5 L V8 476 hp. We started off on the highway. 60-120 id pull pretty hard on him. we both both surprised how easily i pulled away on him 4th-5th gear. At lower speeds, from 20mph, id be at least a carlength ahead by 75. Didnt even go from a stop, he couldnt hook up the tires in the cold. i was pretty satisfied, esp with the highway run.

nice run.....no surprise there though, the SL55 AMG is about as fast as an E55 AMG.......

since it is the same exact powerplant. They are heavy, but are still monster with close to 500 HP and over 500+ TQ. Your ASP kit should walk these handily...(rape from a stop) and from a 60 roll (right in 3rd gear boost) to the 120...you should walk him handily as you did. Sometimes, people here underestimate (don't understand just how powerful) our cars can be, and as well as overestimate others (such as E55 and SL55 AMGs). Just because they are S/C, have 500 HP, and have AMG slapped on them...people think they are not supposed to be able to beat these cars. On the contrary.....imho, people would be quite surprised at the outcomes if they actually got the chance and run these cars themselves. Here is the PEER FATs list, and as you can see the SL55 and E55 are pretty close, and both run about a 4.0 FATs. Your ASP prob runs mid 3's so it should spank them

Yep, i'm giddy.. Already told the wife "I've spent enough", no need to spend more on my Xmas present
It will be totally different, not only has it been 9 months, but i'm going from a strong stage 2, to a full blown stage 3, including new torsen..
