first day at the track!

unfortunately none of the other pics turned out but someone was taking video of a few laps, ill be able to see that in a couple days.
finally i got to spend an afternoon at gingerman raceway in southwestern michigan. i never really bought on to what everyone would say on here about how most peoples driving skills are not even good enough to outdrive a stock s4. but after today now i believe everything that was said. even though i wasnt that bad, im sure a good driver in a stock s would have been able to beat up on me.
also, before my day at the track today i thought that chipping the car was the best thing to do for your first mod. now i can honestly say that suspension should be before anything if you are planning on heading to the track at all. my h&r ultras performed beautifully. they werent the reason why i spun out once it started raining. the track was getting slipperey and i was getting more cocky which turned out with me spinning into the grass.
something else that i noted was how my twin one was just about the perfect volume for me. outside of the car people said that it wasnt loud by any means compared to some of the other cars. it was nice to be absolutely sure where the engine is at with the helmet on and everything else going on. id imagine this would be a little bit tougher with a stock exhaust.
well it was a great time, i cant believe i havent gone out before. heres a pic of me entering the track after turn one. unfortunately none of the other pics turned out but someone was taking video of a few laps, ill be able to see that in a couple days.
cheers

Ever make it to any GTGs in GR? I haven't seen you around at all
I live in East Grand Rapids and work downtown during the summer. About to go back to school next week.
