Default First impressions of a new (1 day) owner (long ramblings)

2 years ago I sold my 93 rx7....sad sad day. It was a sleeper (as much as a red can be) it that it had no cats, pettit ecu, intake etc etc. That was one wild car. 2 kids later I can't go anywhere with both......so I sell it and pick up a millenia s. I always liked the look of the car and they were giving them away. 2 yr lease and I brought it back with 2 months to go...not because it is a bad car but you might as well be driving a camry.

I have always admired my father's string of lexi...original LS400, LS #2, GS400. I also work with guys with audi's 2 A6 4.2's and a 2.8. Love that 4.2 growl and the look of it in black...silver looks like a regular A6, black looks downright nasty.

Anyway. living in canada, awd seemed like a great way to go. I need something unusual....3 series BMW's are everywhere in my area. I see 20 on the way to work every morning...usually women behind the wheel. And yes, a4's too but hardly ever an S.

Got my silver 01 yesterday with 12k miles on it. Dealer had is spotless....like new. I love driving this car! The way it sucks you out of a corner is addictive. Really only have driven it a bit...went to diner with the family...got the same look I used to get from the wife in the rx7....no not what you would think....more of a "if you do that again I'm going to be sick". Woman are such .... women. (sorry if any are reading)

I spent the morning in a sunny driveway, coffee on hand really crawling around in the car, got into the ecu to see what version I have etc. The build quality is fantastic, the onyx interior could not be sharper.. I'm having the father look at Audi when the lex lease is up.

I'm glad you like yours...I've had mine for 2.5 years now and it's a keeper in my book
