Default FMIC - wtf?

i saw an ad for an intercooler off an audi. i've tried to find out what audi it's from, and he's insisting it's from a 2.7T, however the last response has me baffled...shouldn't it have inlets on both sides?

here's the email conversation...maybe someone can tell me if i'm wrong in thinking this guy is nuts...

Oh, well for I do know that the inlet and outlet are both on one side, if that helps
dual 2.25 on inlet and outlet.

sorry if i wasn't clear. both the S4 and the A6 share the 2.7T engine. however the bodies and bumpers surrounding them are completely different. hence the question of which model, as it affects fitment.

audi turbo intercooler for sale - $100

intercooler for sale good turbo part, is good for tight fits. came off 2001 v6 turbo audi, will work great up to around 350hp. 4" inches thick, 12inches tall, about 18 inches wide. very efficient and undercover for the sleeper look. selling cheap to get some space in my garage. thanx for looking at my intercooler for sale that will also fit datsun turbos with the l28et or rb engines from nissan, good for drifting since it doesnt cover the entire radiator, and can be used in tighter mounting locations like the toyota ae86 and 240sx on a budget nismo.

Default $100 is suspicous

The only production FMIC goes for $2000 new, otherwise it's a custom setup. Sounds too good to be true, and the guy doesn't even know what car it came off of.

I'd ask for pictures.

Default People who can't answer direct questions shouldn't be trusted with eating utensils.

Or they are purposefully witholding information. Either way, I say don't do business with them.

Default I'd like to try to see him fit a 4" thick FMIC behind our bumper

Way too thick!
