Follow up to my Wicked Piggies....With pics : )
I LEARNED TO POST MORE THAN ONE PIC...AND IT WAS SOO EASY.
Follow up to the Wicked Piggies that Mike had whipped up for me. 200 Cell cats mated to Borla Cat-back. The piping is significantly larger than stock diameter, 2.5in maybe? I have one requirement with my car, keep it clean, and keep it "legalish". Alot of people run test-pipes out here and that just did not interest me (I don't think I am giving up much power/flow with these over piggies w/test). I think that what I have below is a nice medium and serves the purpose. If piggies are 90% of true DP's then I would expect these are 95%. The sound is pretty sick, and it has mellowed out a bit since I first got the car back. Nice and deep, through the entire RPM range. I would recommend this to anyone that is in the SoCal area, and I think a couple more are already on the list.
Drivers Side, notice the usage of the last piece of stock DP (notice stock pipe flared out where it is welded) so that existing clamp can be used to cat-back (Borla)

Passenger side, same usage of stock clamp

Clean.

Clearance hasn't been much of an issue but it looks like I have rubbed once, and I know where it was. I rubbed on stock piggies here so clearance is about the same.

Thats what I thought...I was expecting the cats to just be chopped out
Then after further inspection I found this. I was very impressed and pleased that Mike gave me what I "wanted" and I didn't even have to ask, or know it was an option.

Went into the trash.
The exhaust sounded good but there weren't many of them. I opted to have the exhaust replaced with the Borla with all intentions of selling the Stebro cheap ~$150, just to do someone a favor and pass along a killer deal. After seeing it on the floor of the shop next to a stock exhaust I deamed that it would be not right to sell it for even the cheapest price, as it was a total POS, looked worse than the stock exhaust, rusted, no mandrel bends. It was steel and heavy as f*ck. Theories are that it may have been a 2.8L A4 variant because it did not appear that it would flow high hp.
