Default that wouldnt satisfy me - id want it activating whenever the primary fan would have activated.

theres a couple fan controllers out there that should be able to do this, but i havent seen anyone post anything solid on any of them yet.

Default if he means the Flex-A-Lite VSC, then it is more then capable...

...it runs a temp probe in the radiator. You configure it to the factory thermostat, and that's about it. You can also wire in the AC fan to trigger it. It'll also run for 10 seconds after shut down if need be.

Default I wired mine directly to the VSC, then used the supplied probe to go in between the rad. fins

I used the adjustment screw to have the fan come on when the coolant reaches a certain temp. My fan only comes on if I sit in traffic for < 10 minutes....

Stays on for 15 seconds when I shut the car off also...

Default yeah. anyone know how the stock belt fan clutch is actuated?

i'm under the impression that the stock belt fan would never come on at speed (this is a good thing).

and would only be on at certain temps...

how is this controlled and what actuates the clutch? never heard of anyone using this "wire"...

but i guess i could look around to figure out how that thing works... or look at my car when i do my EFK...
