Default Front seat disassembly?

Depending on the weather, I think I'm going to tackle this project this weekend. I need to replace the bottom padding, and the side airbag, as well as install the ECS kit to stop it from rocking.

Anyone have any words of wisdom for me? STFA says I shouldn't trust Bentley too much, and that noone really wants to talk about tearing the seats apart... Anyone who's done it and doesn't want to post can email me privately.

Thanks!!

Default It's not very helpful...

I've decided not to put up info about taking the seat apart because it's equipped with an air bag. The service manual has warning after warning after warning after warning in big bold red type about the proper procedures for working on seats with airbags. Have a pro do it for you or consult a service manual before you start taking the seat apart

Default It's throwing a code for the ignitor being an open circuit.

It might just be wiring, I'll find out when I get the seat out, but I picked up a spare bag from ebay for $50. Not too bad, and if I don't need it I figured I'd pass it along to someone else.

Oh, I never read into it too much since I haven't had the need to. Sorry.
