one trick is to use a flat head to spread the clamp apart while undoing the bolt.

this preloads the bolt and keeps the nut seated well in the plastic.

Special Fuel Filter Wrench

Anyone want to sell or let me borrow one of those special wrenches? I'm going to be doing this job soon and want it to go smoothly.
