Default Funny gold colored 2dr Acura Type S, is my Tip comparable?

It seems my around the corner neighbor got a new Type S and this morning wanted to see what it could do. When we turned left on the the 3 lane road in front of our development I punched it went wide but the damn lady in front of me cut me off, so I backed off and swung to the middle lane. By then the Type S was 3 or 4 lengths ahead, I didn't bother at that point.

I'm just curious will my stock Tip keep up with one?

Default Type S is weighing in at around 3510 lbs...

At their site they state 0-60 in 6.57 seconds.

I think it really depends on certain conditions, i.e. weather (humidity), driver ability or reaction time if it's the straight line stuff.

Should be fun though.

Default If you keep your right foot heavy, you can be ahead...

I've ran against the Type S and I have been able to slowly pull away. And at the light, it isn't competition.
2000 Black S4 6 Speed

Default yea, the 6-speed guys don’t get it. CL-S auto is as fast as an S4 auto

Or course, a chipped S4 tip would blow the doors off a CL-S ;-)

Default Don't sleep on this car (more)

If you are in a tip and do not get out of the hole quickly, you will be in for a spirited race. All of its power is on the top end and it's a very capable car in the hand of the right driver. If you are in a 6speed, no contest. A friend of mine has one and we went to the track last week because he said he beat an S4 on the street. Well......you know what happened. Even in 100 plus degree heat I beat him. Both our ET's are too emabarrsing to post. This was his first time out be we will go back when it's cooler. You know the rest...
