...Haven't had a chance to really pound the car yet, but so far so good.
And by "whine" i don't mean "whoosh", i mean whine like scream, bitch, complain, make self noticed.
The operating temp is weird, I thought for sure I'd go up 25F from my prior oil.

Re: You can buy it at Autozone, just look for Castrol 0w30, then flip over for Made In Germany...
I read somewhere that the Castrol synthetics are not real synthetics, but actually a chemically altered dino oil? The article I had results reconciling the makeup of this oil with no improvement in power or gas mileage (the other synthetics improved both). What did you guys think of running Castrol? I can try to dig up the article if someone else wants to read it.

that's how i noticed the faster spoolup...
...on the commute this morning, same pedal position as last time to work, but this time boost instead of vacuum. I had to be careful all day, throttle position relative to boost totally changed.
Then i started paying attention. It indeed spools quicker.

I know most Syntec's are not true Group IV, but a mix...
...But I still think that some Castrol oil is very good.
0w30
TWS 10w60
I bet both of these run very little mix if any.
I bet the standard Syntec 5w30 and 10w40 are more mixed.
Either way, it's going off to be analyzed so we'll know how good or bad it is in teh Audi relative to the the other oils I'm trying or have tried.
