Get this. Can you believe I saw this nut job
washing his S4 in the rain!!!! That nut would be me. I hadn't washed her in a while and wasn't going to get a chance for at least another week so to my luck, it was drizzling when I started and started to pour a few minutes after I was done soaping up. Natural car wash! It was so funny with me pouring warm water over her with a bucket as it was pouring out. The irony was great. (I don't have access to a hose in my complex right now BTW and I'm not taking the S through a car wash!)
Has anyone else done this before? Does this make me an S'aholic psycho?!?!? :-]

Hello, my name is David and I am a carwashaholic - Yes I have done this; not with my S4 mind you...
since I have had a house while owning her. But when I lived in an apartment complex that didn't have a hose fitting anywhere near the parking lot, I would wash the car by carrying buckets of water and even washed it a few times in the rain - it makes excellent deionized rinse water; no nasty water spots. MUCH preferable to taking it through a plebeian car wash and risking scratches and contamination from other lesser auto's dirt remnants...I can relate! Fight the herd mentality ;P

Use warm water; it's a well accepted detailing "trick" to help dissolve some tougher dirt while...
using a mild detergent that protects your wax! I wash my S now anytime above 32 and use the warm water - I have converted many neighbors to this method!
