Default GIAC and TC.. not happy.

I had my spare ECU flashed with GIAC today, stock, 93, and 100...

went for a spin, let it warm up and hammered it.. car definetly had more grunt then my AMS chip, so I was pretty happy.. worked great..cooled the car down, shut it off

hour later my friend got his r32 flashed for 100 octane so I followed him to get some gas after..

TC like a ****.. like rediculous.. 23-24 psi then 12 then 20-22 psi then 12... I thought maybe the ECU was adapting or something so I tried to drive with my foot and keep around 10-12 and it was still TC..

get to the gas station and I use my friends flash loader to switch to stock and back to 93...

same thing.. rediculous TC...

how is it that the AMS code ran 18-19 psi no problem but this GIAC is acting beserk? I refuse to put a MBC on a car that ran fine with AMS code..

any ideas besides a MBC?

the car is stage 1

Default First, check for boost leaks...

2nd, don't worry about adding an MBC. When added in parallel, it doesn't change anything about the boost behaviour other than the spike.

Another idea, switch back to AMS. X is super aggressive.

Your timing will advance further due to higher octane.
