Give the best tire for a stock S4. I am running with the Horrible Pirellis that came with my car.

I hate my Dunlop SP Sport MAXX (225-45-17)
Compared to the GY F1-GSD3 I had before:
- Tramlines where the GY never did.
- Wears too quickly (3-4/32" in 4000 street miles / 200 track miles). If they make it past 15k miles I'll be totally shocked. Meanwhile the GY lasted almost 25k miles, and only got replaced due to the shoulders wearing down, still had tread in the center.
- Not as good on the track.
Only plus is they are cheap. But this is a case of getting what you pay for.

Very pleased with my new BFG KDW-2s 235/40/18. *Very* reasonable at Costco
Best of all, Installation, Road Hazard warranty, lifetime balancing and tire rotating is included in the price!!
Got mine for $140/tire. Very hard to beat the package.

Yeah the tire roar isn't bad at all, especially if your car is properly aligned!
The KDWs ARE louder than the F1's I had on my GTI, but the KDWs really only make noise at low to moderate speeds (15-35MPH).
