Going to run a 99 Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 tomorrow night...
that guy's been bragging about how fast his car is and how poor that I have an auto S4. This really pissed me off. I know Tip S4 sucks but at least he shoulda given some respect. He claimed that he has an apexi boost controller and a fuel controller, and is currently putting 1.2 bar and all I got is a chip and I ran 8.755 in 1/8mile strip with CA 91 pump gas..do I have a chance to win from 0- 4th gear with some 100octane?

He's gonna most likely rip you a new one...
Its trivial (and very inexpensive) to make one of those have just sick amounts of power.
There are some cars you just don't run against if they're not 100% stock. VR4 is one of them.

You do have a small chance, but only if he has stock turbos and cant shift for ****.
Mine ran a 12.4 on pump gas and stock turbos with a boost controller and exhaust. Now it runs as low as 10.9 with bigger turbos,WI, and race gas @ 24 psi.
You may get a better launch than him, but he will suck you in like a vacuum once you get moving. Just don't bet any real money, but hey, you never know, he may break something.
