Also, whats the best method to get highest trap speeds? I'm more interested in highest possible trap speeds right now, so I can figure out an approximate horsepower for my car ;-) ET time I'd like to hit a 12.5 at least, but I haven't launched my car enough to know what will pull a good short time, so I guess I'll experiment tonite. Recommendations appreciated.

For trap you need higher tire pressure but if you want a low E.T., a good 60' time is critical...
...12.5 is a tall order. I don't know what mods you have but you need a 1.6-1.7 60' time.
What size wheels do you have?
Ummmm, just go with default settings and see what happens and adjust accordingly.

Good luck man !
If you nail your launch I think you'll suprise some people with the slip...I would just go high pressure in all of your tires all around and row like a ****...I don't think anyone has nailed down shift points for a k04'd car.

for highest trap speed,
you want high tire pressure. Don't worry about hooking up, if you don't care about ET, and its quattro anyway, but turn off the ESP... Also stage as shallow as possible (just flicker the stage bulb).
Good luck, post results tomorrow!

Naw, I'm back in NY - I will be back in VA in a couple weeks
and would like to do some runs down there again (street). I finally have things fixed, the o2 sensors were throwing my CE light, my driver side bpv wasn't even working. Good ole' little problems - oh, and my rear mainseal is leaking lots of oil now, on the order of 1qt of oil every 3500miles :-D Gotta love this car haha. Its being replaced next week.
