Default Goooobye S4 :(

Im not going into details but I have said goodbye for now to the B5 S4 platform and have moved on to an '03 350Z track edition. Im sure at some point i will come back but for now this is my new baby. Although the power isnt at par with even a chipped B5, the Z is extremely well balanced and offers a very different driving experience then the S. Plus a warranty is nice too. Anyways i love these forums and will continue to be around for a while. I know there will be an explosion of progress for this platform in the upcoming year. Take care all!

Default GL with the Zed...

Beat the crap out of it until the warranty is up, I hear there are like eleventy-thousand updates to the transmission... would be nice to get the latest one, lol.

Default lemon law

Many consumers are complaining about their new Nissan 350Z cars. The no.1 complaint has been abnormal tire wear. Many of the tires are showing unusual signs of feathering or cupping. Many consumers have complained of excessive tire noise. Many consumers have had one or more sets of tires replaced by the dealer. Sometimes stated as a goodwill replacement! There are message boards filled with 1000's of posts from 350z owners like you, reporting problems with their tires. In some cases, we've seen consumers going through three sets of tires within 12,000 - 14,000 miles!

clicky
