Default Got car back after turbo change. 2 little problems. any opinions???.....TIA

1. my external temp gauge on the dash is reading very high. it's been reading 96-100 degrees F. it's definetely lower here in FL

is there a way to recalibrate it???

2. everytime i get in my car and start her up, the radio is incorrectly set. for example, if i turn the car off and its on 94.9, then when i later come to start it up it will be on 95.1...very weird. but something is wrong here.

any opionions on these matters? anything i can do to reset them or something???

TIA

1) I suspect the temp reading problem is more likely to result from a sensor malfunctioning.

2) The radio setting moving +.2 is common on many of these Symphony units. Just turn it off first before you turn the ignition off

Default because, they believe that the problem has been fixed, on newer Symphony radios

I got mine replaced and it will still ocasionally do it

first problem, see if the ouside temp sensor is laying on the condensor or lying on the power steering cooler.if the sensor is in it's bracket, check to make sure the harness is not pinched[shorted to grd.],this would make it read high[note;some heat from engine will make it higher than actual temp].the nose came off th car to pull the motor.2]if it's the original radio,it's probably the radio

open the hood on the car and look down in between the space between the condensor and the back of the bumper, you should see a little mushroom looking sensor snapped into a plastic bracket attached to the power steering cooler line[the cooler lines are right below the fan mounted to the condensor near the l/f headlight.it will have 2 wires coming out of it.

Default Yup, a number of others have reported the same reoccurance. Mine does it

too, but I hate to have anyone take the dash apart and risk ending up with squeeks or vibrations from not being reassmbled properly.
