Got nabbed with radar last night... V1 did NOT go off!

Default Got nabbed with radar last night... V1 did NOT go off!
Pennsylvania state cop pulled me over last night. Said he got me on radar. My trusty V1 did NOT go off at all.

I do not have the POP upgrade on my V1. Does anyone know if PA state cops are using POP radar?

I recall other reports from PA of V1 not going off - POP I guess.

Default next time, ask to see the radar - very politely, but ask. I've asked before when the V1 didn't....
go off.

I was then told I was "paced". Sure, lawyer called, ticket dismissed.

The police don't seem to mind the V1 sitting on my dash. One guy told me I should buy a better radar detector after he zapped me (instant on) - - well, at least he was smiling as he handed me the ticket.

(I told him they didn't make better ones.)

Default It's possible that the sensor failed. Send it back to V1 for inspection.
They'll likely repair it and send it back for free in a short period of time.

Default Thanks. Yeah I should have asked...
He was sitting on the median in an area that is a known speedtrap. So I was specifically looking at my V1 display to see if it was picking up anything. But nothing...

My V1 is mounted on my driver's side visor, so the cop wasn't able to see it.
