GROOAAANNNN.....need some help
albeit this may be trivial, but my PIGGIE gives me a nice little whine/groan intermittantly every 2 seconds in the morning at a cold startup (45 degrees F) and when I finally pull out and turn my wheel, I get the I-need-more-power-steering-groan. Drove to work today and got out...noticed a nice oily deposit on the lower part of the drivers side fender and door behind the tire...no build up of the same sort on the passenger side. checked the power steering fluid and she's low. Did I blow a hose? small leak? Recommended hose/fluid to use? easy to replace?
Thanks boys

Check the power steering fluid level, add only OEM fluid as needed.
Crawl under the car and look for the leak and determine how quickly you need to address it and how difficult it might be. Could just be a loose clamp.

leaking............
check the small hose from the reservoir to the power steering fluid cooler. This is notorious for leaking. If you pull the cover off the reservoir it is the smaller of the 2 hoses. If you replace it, it is kind of expensive since it has a restrictor in it.
