how downpipes affect the sound. I was gonna get just cat back, but decided to get full exhaust done. Do downpipes make it lounder? deeper?

I still have stock exhaust and was considering Milltek....but wasn't there something about it's DP's making the CE light go on....or was it some other brand??

Also, is it better to get DP and cat-back from the same manufacturer or is it okay to interchange??

Default I had the same thought... guess we're spoiled. My window(s)/sunroof is open 90% of the time!

Otherwise, the air feels stuffy and I feel claustrophobic!

Default Not me

I rolled around Austin all summer with the windows down. As long as I was moving, it wasn't bad, IMO. It's not too humid there (compared to Pittsburgh where I came from), and I've always been a windows-down kind of guy.

Default thats true....

...its not nearly as humid down there as it is here (raleigh, nc)....it gets nasty here in the summer....95 degrees and 90 percent humidity....windows stay up!! it sucks

i spend about 1/2 my time in dallas....it gets hot down there but i'd much rather deal with texas heat than deal with raleigh heat and humidity!!!

Default I agree. So Cal has many 95+ degree days and my a/c is off w/ windows down all summer...

...(most of the time anyway). Dry heat is so comfy.
