Beacuse it was at a Formula D Drifting event at Sears Point in CA....ok fess up....hell I was there I figured it would be fun to see how the other side lives...not to mention I got to see how a show was filmed.

A budy of mine is an Executive produce for Comcast G4 he is in charge of 5 or 6 shows and they were shooting a new show....actully, they have gotten the exclusive brocasting rights for Formula D.

I have seen events on tv when I was flipping through but never in person. It was an scene to say the least. It was cool for me becuase I had an all access pass and was spending the day with my friend and the 7 or 8 camera crews that were there shooting the event. He was overseeing the whole event. Met the vice pres and pres of Comcast G4 that day as well...seemed like nice guys. The pres is a big time Holloywood producer whit about a half a dozen big time movies to his name.

Everyone kept asking if it was a Bently because it only had Brabus embelems on it.

This car had a roll cage and heavily modded motor.....I think he is trying to balance out the weight of his car. I don't get it....roll cage, race seats and 450hp motor.....oh ya, how about 200 lbs of amps and speakers in the trunk?

Famous Driver from Japan....guys name is Tarzan....he did a few runs and was clearly much better then everyone else out there.

This run was pretty kick ***....guys almost hit the wall and eachother.

Behind the scenes.....Millen all pissed off at the judges decission. Tarzan, another Japanese driver and 3 other people were the judges. They eliminated Millen even though he passed his competitior...they said both right tires hit the center burm when he made the pass...hence eliminated. Kind of a big deal because he was the points leader and there is only one more race left.

these guys were drifting at 100mph into the horse shoe in tandem....pretty fvcking crazy. There were a few rally drivers in the event as well....one place 3rd.
