Has anybody bought a complete GIAC chipped ECU from AWE....
They say on their website that it's a special order item, was wondering what the cost is? Also, will installing ASP exhaust and 710N DV's void my warranty? TIA for any info.

There's someone looking to sell their GIAC chipped ECU in the Classifieds. It's for a tip, however..
It's special ordered because you'll either need to provide AWE with your stock ECU for chipping (flashing)or have them provision a spare ECU so that they can install the GIAC software on it.
If you have any plans in the future of going Stage 3, best bet is to hang on to your stock ECU and get a spare ECU for chipping purposes. I would budget on spending $900-1000 for a complete GIAC chipped ECU from AWE (don't know for sure since I don't know what they charge for a stock ECU...figure software $595 + $400 for ECU).
I would check with members or keep an eye on the Classifieds for chipped ECUs on sale (usually $600-800). You'll sometime see folks selling stock ECUs for $300-400.
Finally, depending on your local Audi dealership, ASP exhaust may or may not void your warranty. Frankly, it shouldn't but you never know...it certainly gives the stealership a reason to void your warranty if something goes wrong because it's not OEM. My dealership didn't give me any problems, btw. 710N shouldn't void your warranty since it's Audi approved. Again, never say never.
What model year is you S4?

One more thought...check the NY/NJ/CT forum and look for Mark P's post about the GTG in Stratford...
you are in CT, I assume. You could always show up for the 1/14/06 event organized by Mark and I'm sure the folks sponsoring the event (EPL) will be able to help you out.
I'm thinking about heading down there that weekend and may attend. Maybe we'll run into each other.
Again, seek out some of the vets on this board for help. You could always call Mark at Autospeed Performance (ASP) and he'll be able to help you.
