has anyone experienced any weird sounds at cold start - up

here in chicago sometimes when i start my car in the morning due to the cold
i hear this weird type of lose belt kinda noise.. but then after a min or so of idling it goes away.. other than that .. just the usual

Somtimes .....
it sounds like a low note on a horn or something else off key. Have not been able to determine source of the sound other than from the passenger side. Starts happening when outside temps drop into the 20's and is still there at -5. It goes away as car warms up.
Who knows - but it doesn't seem to hurt anything yet.
