I was under the impression that there will be no or little power gain by going from K03 to K03/16, it is done more for the purpose of increasing reliability.

Default They should flow better in upper rpms.....

"""The K03/16 offers the advantages of the K16 compressor wheel coupled with near stock lag. Lag is increased slightly, 75-100rpm over stock. The K16 compressor wheel offers advantages over the K04 wheel including lower shaft speeds and increased efficiency. The lower shaft speeds will result in increased reliability like the K03/K04 and less heat within the turbocharger. The increase in compressor efficiency of the K03/16 over both the K03 and K03/K04 produces lower temp air going into the engine. Like the K03/K04, by retaining the K03 turbine wheel upper rpm flow will not be as good as with a K04 turbine wheel. Clipping the turbine wheel has the same effect on these as it does on the K03/K04â€TMs. I recommend clipping on this turbo….my turbine wheels are clipped on my K03/16â€TMs and I like it. I reach FULL boost by 3000rpmâ€TMs and flow very well all the way to redline."""

Default Look at jacobs numbers. He was getting sub 4 FATS i believe on k16/k03's, stock fueling

Granted his are Z/Ced and clipped but K16/K03's will give ALOT more power than k03's because the compressor wheel is able to move a lot more air.

Default it's highly dependent upon software.....like if you're going with stock software, you aren't going

to see much gain at all, but if you do something like giac k03 software with mbc in parallel (or mbc only) then improvements are going to be very noticeable. Also, pretty soon there will be specific software for running larger than K03 turbos on stock fueling.

oil temps aren't going to be affected by the turbocharger choice, whether it be K04's or hybrids
