Default Header Gasket Failure

Anyone have problems with leaky header gaskets? This seems to be happening with some frequency in Europe. SD<p>Steve D'Gerolamo

I believe it! Cast Iron block with Aluminum heads aren't the greatest mix! Ask Toyota!

Default Re: Header Gasket Failur..... Last head gasket failure I had was in...

1972 on a VW K70. I've had other things fail over the years since ,but no head gasket failure. Usual cause these days is incorrect torquing of the cylinderheads.

Default "Head" or "Header" gasket? Alum/cast iron would only affect the former.
