Re: Header Gasket Failur..... Last head gasket failure I had was in...
1972 on a VW K70. I've had other things fail over the years since ,but no head gasket failure. Usual cause these days is incorrect torquing of the cylinderheads.

"Head" or "Header" gasket? Alum/cast iron would only affect the former.
