Default That makes a lot of sense...

Or possibly enlarging the two outer valves and leaving the centre one stock size.

I mentioned this because I saw that Simpply's engine has 1mm larger valves so I figure that was probably about the limit. But I dn't really know anything about this.

Default That will be one problem....

<center><img src="http://gallery.rennlist.com/albums/album531/30Lblock_s4hg1.jpg"></center><p>The other will be no oil feed for the turbochargers on the normally aspirated 3.0L engine.

But big deal? I don't think so. Just a couple issues which will need to be dealt with.

Do you see anything else that I've missed?

Default Hello Hiro ...

I didn't go anywhere. I was just super-busy and had to ignore everything else including my Audi and AW. In fact, I'm still really busy but at least I have time to breath.

My car sat for 3 months because I didn't even have the time to replace a wheel bearing. I haven't got to the wheels yet. Now I have it ready for this coming winter. Hopefully I will be able to deal with the wheels in the spring.

:-)

Default I'd go with the 2.8's with 2.7T valves...

IF the valves aren't already sodium filled (heard different opinions on that one). Also, as Matty-boy said, The earlier ones are worthy of consideration.

I agree with your rev-limit. The OE valvetrain won't go much higher... and it's 10mm more stoke, even fully balanced/blueprinted I'd maintain that limit. You won't make *any* more power going above 7000 unless you run GT's.

What were you doing for Rods/pistons?

Default You could tap the oil journal like the 2.7l though... I've always considered our oil feed pretty

ghetto anyway lol. Just find the high pressure feed for the crank or other main artery and do like the factory did. Looks similar to the way us Mopar guys fix the high rpm(well 6500rpms on a 440 block haha) oil feed head issues Chrysler never planned for.

I'd like to see more pics if you have them. Will try to help remotely of course =-).

Default Cost vs return I'd skip this. Could likely accomplish the same with a few psi or

maybe some additional duration on the intake cams.

Quick Reply: Which heads, etc., with the aluminium 3.0L block? 2.4L, 2.8L, 2.7L or RS4 ???
