I get this odd sound when i mash the gas in 5th, AND when i have the car in 2nd, over 4000rpm as i cruise into a corner.....

I think this has been discussed before.......

Sounds like a metallic buzz, kinda like dragging tin cans?

Typically when the engine was labored, low rpm in a higher gear while accelerating would always induce it. Sounds like Jim says. The dealership claimed they fixed the turbo heat shield. When it still did it, I took it back. Then they fixed the catalytic converter heat shield. Problem solved.

BTW cheng.. I went to Auto Freak yesterday while my x-pel was being installed. They were out of H7 Piaa Platinums.

It's the same shield! One shield starts at the turbos, and goes down past the upper cat.
