hello all, i currently have bosch platins but i need colder plugs, what would be my next step up....

Default hello all, i currently have bosch platins but i need colder plugs, what would be my next step up....

heard ngk iridiums was a colder plug, or denso iridiums. can someone verify for me please.

Default You need to go with the colder range plug. One manufacturer to another is not going to be colder,

necessarily. In bosch speak, this means a lower second number...so, the platin would be f4dp0r instead of f5dp0r. problem is, they don't make an f4dp0r (that i can find).

So, 2 equivalents would be the ngk BKR8EIX or the denso ik24. I'd run the ngks before the densos although I've never had a problem with the densos personally when used in my other cars.
