Default Help/advice please

I am in the process of searching for an S4 and am going to look at one tomorrow morning. Could someone please advise me as to things that I should pay close attention to? The car is an '01, but it was built in '00, the owner took delivery of it in August of 2000. Also, I am looking at another '01 S4 that is the "new badge" version, any suggestions? All help is appreciated.

Default built as 01 in 00

Mine is the same situation, only I got mine in Sept, according to the dealer(Scottsdale Audi in PHX) this was the first 01 delivery. I guess it might vary from state to state.

Specifically, what kind of advise are you looking for?

Default New badge idea is good or to be 100% sure, look here for the build date...

Default Re: built as 01 in 00

Specifically, I am wondering about the F hose and any other things that I would benefit from by buying the "built in '01" '01.
