Default Help with after run pump temp switch removal. Switch

turnsaround 360 (once clip removed)but will not come out. Don't want to twist too hard in case switch breaks off! Any ideas on removal?

Default should pop out if you have the clip out, sounds like the o ring is sticking.

maybe get a small screwdriver and try to work it loose.. GET AN EXTRA O RING incase you bust the original one.

Default keep the plug on so you have something extra to grip on...just shake it back n forth...

it should eventually just pop out. make sure the car isn't hot or you'll be sorry. If it is then wait for it to cool off a bit and uncap coolant reservoir to release any pressure inside the system.

Default Thanks will try that. Just concerned about pulling switch

as i don't fancy taking entire housing off to replace sheared switch...

Mine was stubborn like that too. I just used needle-nosed pliers to pinch it. Pull straight up.
