Help again please...Recently I posted a question regarding a putrid "sweaty" smell coming from my
A/C everytime I turn it on. Many of you suggested that it was mold and that I should lysol the fresh air intake and change the pollen filter. Well, I tried that and the smell is still there...just that the intensity is a bit less. Does anyone know what else I can do to stop this putrid smell from invading my car??

Every time you use your air, right before you stop, put it on econ, turn off recirc, and turn up the
temperature until the system blows warm. Time it so it blows warm a little bit before you stop. This will dry out the cooling elements and help keep you smell free.

I live in Hades half the year so I know about the AC system - yO! There must be a flaw in the design
because even here in dry dry Phoenix I got "the stink" once. But after the dealer did a vent clean under warranty and replaced the pollen filter, and using the warm-up procedure religiously it has never come back.
