Default help: ASP trudual questions...

I'd really like to buy an ASP trudual Exhaust for my car... I listened to several clips and the sound is just phenomenal BUT the idle sound seem to be a little bit too loud and, as you say, "ricey". I'd like to know your personal impressions, since the idle volume is a basic issue here in Europe (if it's too loud I can't use it on the road).
@ Verruckt: you are actually using an ASP tru-dual in Germany, isn't it? Any problems with police/law?

Thanks everybody

No problems...yet. It's far from legal.

Default you have got dp's don't you?

I've got stock dp's... but it would be far from legal too I FEAR... (and I hope :P ). I've listened to your last clip, and it seems way more silent at idle than the one on the asp website! Is it just an impression, or is there actually something different? (Thanks )

Default You might also consider the AWE Twin2 setup.

It's of similar construction, but it has a center resonator, so it is somewhat less obtrusive. I really enjoy mine.

Yes, I have piggie pipes. It's fine at idle and normal throttle inputs. It only wails at WOT.

Default Hmmm, not sure about Germany though

I dunno for Verrückt as he might have a special treatment for his car, but any german car has to have TüV certification for any mods done to the car, and the mods have to be listed in the car's papers (Fahrzeugbrief). My car is registered in Germany and I know I can't even fit a ghetto intake kit or exhaust mods without getting a TÜV approval. Same for brakes or tyre sizes....

Just my 0.02,

Mihnea
