Default HELP!! with brake indicator <edited>

OK, I am in need of help bad. I keep gettign the indicator light for the front pads. I have replaced the front pads with the Carbotech Bobcats (actually switched out all 4 corners. Well, I first did the "short circuit" mod, and that lasted about a month, I then found where you can change the ECU down a thousand, tried that, worked for a while. it came on again so I made sure to get them nice and goey with solder, heat shrunk them, folded the extra end over, heat shrunk that, creating a weather tight seal. Tonight however pulling out of my friends driveway "DING" the light comes on yet again. I checked my connections under the car, all wires still in perfect shape, nor rips/tears. I am now at a loss, Any ideas? helpful hints? reasons why mine keeps coming on?

TIA for ANY help you can provide, and yes, I have STFA already, but hoping there are more like me that finally got it to stop coming on.

<edit> I found out from a bimmer tech friend that they reset the brake pads via a one minute interval of the key on with engine off, are ours similar?</edit>
