Help diagnosing a low speed shudder- - ->
Here's the deal...
With the steering wheel at either lock, and the car in gear...
As I start to move, there is a mild shudder from the steering. It doesn't happen if I am coasting, and it doesn't happen at higher speeds (although, at higher speeds, I don't get the steering all the way to lock...)
I can't figure out when it started...probably after one of the big snow storms recently..
Steering rack? CV?

No noise...a shudder...a vibration..and yes it in the steering- ->
if I back off the steering a quarter turn it goes away..
Mostly when executing three point turns or U-turns

Definitely the center Torsen. Like others said I believe it's normal.
At or near full lock the front wheels are travelling significantly faster than rears (like wheelslip), and when you're accellerating the Torsen is TORque SENsing the speed difference and trying to transfer the torque.
