Default Help diagnosing problem on 2000 S4 76k mi

My CEL is on with the following codes:

17544-Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Lean
17546-Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank2 System too Lean
17521-Bank1-Sensor1 Internal Resistance too High

Searching the archives it seems it could be caused by the following:

Water Temp Sensor
O2 Sensor
MAF

What course of action does Audiworld suggest considering the model and mileage (btw - all parts are the original factory installed)

Clean MAF? (seen DIY instructions on this somewhere)
Replace Water Temp Sensor?
Replace O2 sensor? (any DIY tips?)

I have a diagnostic vacuum gauge. What should it read at idle? And what would indicate leak?

Default do u have a vag ? log 003 on a wot run (2000-5000 rpm )

and post it (it should go up into 200-s)
it could be the Maf (do u have bosch ?)
also pressure test the system .

Default Just pop the hood and look at the normal cuplrits, listen for a hiss, etc.

Eliminate the easy things first. If no leaks are found definitely check the MAF as per Lemieux.

Default Put a new passenger front O2 sensor in and a new (refurbished MAF) - then call it a day....

You can get both pretty cheap and your codes should go away.

Never heard of a coolant temp sensor throwing those codes.

Default Yes, 2000 MY uses Bosch MAF

I don't think my version of VAG-COM supports logging. (I am running an old "dumb interface" version because it's such a PITA to upgrade).
