Default Help with engine miss-fire?

Let me start out by stating I'm a noob so please be kind. I noticed that my S4 was miss-firing while cruising. I replaced all six spark plugs and notice one was bad. Still miss-fire. I replaced the coil pack for the spark plug which was bad and thought the problem was fixed. Well its fine as long as I don't rail on the throttle, or get too high on the tach. I noticed it is worst in 5th and 6th gears. Any ideas? Also no miss-fire code in the comp.

Default Check your ignition control modules....

...they are the little rectangular modules on the top of your air box with two (balck/tan) plugs going into them.

Sorry Guys another noob question. I'm a pilot and EGT for us stands for exhaust gas temp. and thats how we lean our engines. If its the same I don't understand how this would make the engine miss-fire. Thanks again.
