Help..... I tried the 'one-touch up' rear window mod......
It worked for about 5 minutes. Then it just quit working. Not only that, but the one-touch power down quit working as well. I undid everything and put it back stock, and nothing changed - one-touch up and one-touch down still don't work. I did both rear windows, and the other window works fine (up and down).

First of all. How ghetto not to use the VW/Audi electrical connector.
Did you do the twist the wire into the connector 5 method? I haven't done this mod at all, as I don't usually have rear passengers, but from the URL you posted, it seems that you need first and foremost, the VW/Audi electrical connector to insert into the harness plug.
I bet it's not making the proper electrical contact.

Heh, no. I used an electrical connector and splicer from Radio Shack
Not quite as ghetto as the url. The connection was fine. More importantly, now that I have it back as it was before I touched it, why won't the one-touch up work?
