HELP: my diy armrest LED doesn't work
ok so i've got the DB25 connector and i soldered a wire from pin:
03->23 (rj45 pin 1(ground))
05->08 (rj45 pin 2(12v))
ok so i have my 12v red LED:
Black wire is in Pin 1 of the RJ45 connector
Red wire is in Pin 2 of the RJ45 connector
Plug both in and no light. what gives??

Re: Ignition on, I assume?
you just put a male into the female essentially looping the power coming from the female back through a different pin in the female plug, which in this case happens to be the rj45 pins in the armrest.
