Help, trying to post pics....

The pics are in .JPG form, and i have a mac (if it makes any difference). I can upload them onto the picture poster, but then when i click on the link just to make sure the pic is working, it says "image"with a stop sign with an x through it. Does anyone know what I need to do to make it work? thanks in advance...

i am no expert with macs...

but make sure you are getting the url of the pic from pic poster and put that url into the "optional image URL" slot and that should do it...

Nope...all I see is a red "X"...

They are not jpegs....

How are you making them jpegs? What program are you using?

Can you open them using Pictureviewer (located in your Quicktime Folder)? Or, can you view the picture by opening a new window in IE or Netscape and dragging the picture icon into the window?

If those approaches do enable you to view the picture, then there's something wrong with how you made the jpeg.

On my machine (Mac) I get an "image could not be opened because a suitable graphic importer could not be found" in Pictureviewer and Photoshop.
