Help... what's the size/id # of our low beam OEM HID bulbs...
Heading to Japan this weekend, want to do some investigating on what's available & how much the proper size/spec replacements would be over there for our projector HID low beam bulbs.
I remember awhile back someone posting about OEM & Phillips vs. Osrams etc. What's the size/ID designation for our replacement Xenon HID bulb. What's the wattage & sustained voltage? Remember someone also posting about PIAAs replacement HID bulb/filaments and will take a look. Wonder if they all have the same wattage, or if the PIAAs are higher wattage/intensity? I know they're supposed to be higher temp color...
Gee, my business trip just 'happens' to coincide w/ the end of the Tokyo Motor Show... hehehe = P
Also, what's the size of the city light bulbs in the Valeo E-codes, maybe I can see about some super whites for future upgrades.

not sure if you are confusing the "10%" xenon filled H7 bulbs with the real thing...
as I didn't know that PIAA made a replacement bulb for our OEM xenons.

Nope, those are what I was looking for...
what's the actual p/n or replacement ID for them? Any idea the cost of these stock replacements? I'm going to investigate PIAA's and any other true HID bulb suppliers we don't normally have access to in the good ole US of A.
I've got the HID-like blues in my fogs, but since I'll be in Japan & at the TMS, want to look at any other genuine higher-intensity options for our stock HID bulbs. Never know, just cuz we don't have them in the states doesn't mean there aren't better out there. Besides, seems like every other car in Japan has HID lights, so in terms of sheer volume & experience, must be more options to choose from over there.
