here's a little Audi vs. BMW dealer story/rant for you....
my recent service visit: no loaner. nothing done but the usual, car had muck smeared all over where the replaced the radio, and even though I complained about my brakes pulsating they say they're fine. took a week.
my mom's recent dealer visit on her 03 325i: "inspection I" which is a basic 10K visit. gave her a loaner. they also replaced front pads + rotors saying they were getting low, re-flashed tranny ecu saying it was shifting a bit off, drove it to bed brakes in, all without asking. washed it inside/out. took 4 hours.
my next car is a bmw.

HAHAHAHAHA BMW is on the bottom run in terms of service as well
Sounds like "this BMW dealer was better, then "your" Audi dealer".
But when you hear stories of, we can't fix or even diagnose that rattle until you remove your window tint, it really puts BMW in the same boat as AOA, THE SUCK boat

Volvo was the same, except the car was a lemon (S60R).
Got a S4 & I'm in love except for the service. They just miss the whole point of service. I have never heard some many complaints, that you would think we are going to a big 3 Stealership (Ford, GM or DC).

Hmmm, great BMW service here in MI (Erhard BMW).
The service manager from there moved to a local Audi dealership. I've known the guy for almost 10 years so I stop in occasionally to say hi. I told him I won't ever bring my S4 in there for service, though....

my DIY alcantara. I thought of doing this for spare $ but nobody seemed to want it.
I'd do a 'send me your ash try, I'll do it and return it in 3 days' or whatever, I even set a price, no takers.
It's awesome, my phone fits perfectly, chage holds fine, etc. I've had it for 2 years, no wear and tear at all. My favorite mod, because I conceived it and did it

mine is owned by a guy who does the job just b/c he's bored.
He has nothing better to do, and if the place doesn't make oodles of money for him, he really doesn't care. He is not into the brand or anything he pushes.
