Default Here's two pics of the passenger side RS4 IC I just installed

After seeing Hal's pics, I figured I could modify the cutting method slightly and leave some sheetmetal to bolt the IC to. APR's instructions say to cut the entire area out. I'm not sure if doing it this way will cause more clearance problems with the bumper.

Default After seeing how much my motor moved, I'm glad my IC's weren't bolted to anything...

...this way they could just move with the motor instead of ripping a hose off or damaging the bipipe mounts.

yea, but your engine almost had an "out of body" experience!

Pretty creative there... thought the same thing after I'd whacked the drivers side off already lol.

Default I was ready to do the same until I saw your pics

As stiff as the APR hoses are, I'm afraid the fenders will vibrate with the engine. I'll find out tomorrow.

How much fun did you have getting the hoses on and did your drivers side sit slightly lower?

Default I did the exact same thing several months ago...

...but decided that I was better off allowing the ICs to move independently.

Needless to say, you never know when that might happen.

I don't think it's ever happened with a DTS
