Hey Canadians: Have any of you upgraded to Xenon headlights?
How difficult? How much did it cost?
|
I'm not Canadian...but try AWE, SPP, Avalon for pricing.

Here are your options.
1. Get stock ballasts and bulbs - about $500 US
Get Euro S4 housings - another $500 US You may be able to get used US Xenon Housings for $250 - $300 2. Get Philips or another generic aftermarket ballasts and bulbs which come with H7 socket adapters. about $500-600 US These will fit into your existing housings with some rework. I went the stock route when I upgraded my A4. I replaced the housings in the S4 with Euros and moved the US S4 housings to the A4. All I had to get were the ballasts and bulbs. Bought them used for about $500. Yes I am from NJ and no they were not stolen <g>. Zev from Avalon Motorsports helped me find a set. Try contacting them or for your local source give PG Performance a call. |
Ima Canadian...Living in L.A! What's wrong with the Stock Lights?
If You're just aching to spend $, send it MY way!
|
thx - looks like the stock route is easier
What happens to the DRL's?
|
Yes it is, it may be harder to find stock ballasts.
The xenons will be your low beams so I guess if you have DRLs they'll be on.
